I've seen this done in groups, they start walking in a circle then one breaks off and as the rest follow they finish the circle and start to weave. Its almost seamless as you focus on the group but not sure how this would work with an individual. Its a case of tricking the audience into thinking your doing circles but then you need a moment when they realize you've moved on to wiggly lines. Maybe experimenting with different sizes of circle or changing direction of the circles and then slipping into the lines??
